Panic and fear are at an all-time high as we face a pandemic worldwide. We do an amazing job of worrying without a virus threatening our way of life! Fear is prevalent in most of my coaching clients, outside of this current situation, which can include finances, rejection, starting something new, being attacked, being found out, getting older, dying, being alone, empty nest. Now, it’s painfully evident as we are isolated for our own wellbeing.
How do we fight our most human nature to worry?
It starts with talking about it. We fill our mind with easy information, that may not be accurate, and convince ourselves of the worst possible scenario. If we allow ourselves to be vulnerable and speak our fears, listen for probable outcomes, and surrender what is out of our control, we can fight back. We can win against worry.
